What I’m up to this Long Weekend

By 09/06/2010January 23rd, 201722 Comments

I’m hanging out with my totally squish able 11 month old nephew this weekend. My sister and I were in the fitting room at the Gap trying on their famous new black pants (below). I bought the ones on the right and some skinny pants.

We were together in a big one and had Markus on the bench, and this is how he was keeping himself entertained:
He’s almost walking but not quite, so he keeps standing on his own just like this.
He has a new game these days where he’s looking at mom as he’s about to drop something, so darn cute!
Okay, he’s done waiting for us to try on clothes now!

I just received a comment saying that Markus looks like Harold and the Purple Crayon so I posted the book cover because I agree 🙂
And here I am in the Sauna, my moms here and my cousins as well, and Finns always love a Sauna! My mom insisted on taking this picture even though the steam was fogging up the lens!

Hope you are enjoying your long weekend!

    Maria,

Spending time with family is absolutely priceless. Especially the newest members to our personal tribe. Never under estimate the power and importance each member adds to how unique you are. Looks like you soaked in lots of good vibrations and blessings for sure.

Dear Maria, What sweet photos! Wow–only you could wear those cool pants! Ha! Rebekah and I have done some shopping too–modern blouses–all on clearance! Got to be frugal at our house. :o) Thanks so very much about the advice on the tile. I was thinking grayish might be right. I'm so glad you thought so too!

Please keep little August, my grandbaby, in your prayers. I've been posting photos of him little thinking that the breathing problems he had due to his heavy weight would continue. We picked up my granddaughter so my son could take August to Texas Children's Hospital last night. We've been at their house a lot since the baby was born which is why I haven't been able to visit much lately. The doctors gave him antibiotics in case of pnemonia. He breathes very shallow and rapid which isn't good and his oxygen level is lower than normal regularly.

PS. I can't wait for my newsletter on the 20% of colors by the way! That will be fabulous to read about. I've got the 18month old here for the next few days I guess, so blogging will be sporadic. I did get some organizing and couch cushions sewn late last week during a couple of days when we weren't with the grandbaby. :o) Give me 24 hours and I'll change the world-Ha!

I'm SOoo getting flooring next week! :o) Thanks for the advice Maria! You are the best!

Maria, I just have to say again that those photos are priceless! What a cute little boy. I love the 'action series'. Aren't toddlers so entertaining! Lena talks up a storm and none of it makes any sense.

She's still asleep after the late night yesterday. I doubt she had a nap with all the whirlwind of confusion at home before heading out. I'm counting the minutes before she wakes up for breakfast.

Just had to have one more peek at those cute photos of your nephew!
