Many of you know that I never design a room without toss pillows. I truly believe they are one of the most important accessories in a living room. There are so many beautiful ways to make a pillow. Pillows by Dezign is hosting a giveaway of their beautiful toss cushions and one lucky readers will win a gift certificate for $200! Enough for almost four pillows to freshen up your space.
Here are a few of my favourites, and for more context, here is the sofa I would buy (of course) to go with them:

I love throw pillows! It is possibly the easiest way to update a room or tie together a color scheme. I am currently redecorating my own guest room ( a rare treat) and I would love to win some of these pillows for my space.

I’m a bit ambivalent about pillows (I’m the mom who has to pick them all up so…) but my fun comes from watching my 15 yr old when we go by a store w/pillows. She hasn’t met a pillow she hasn’t liked! It’s great to see how she is starting to refine her tastes & preferences. She’s a fan of the paisley but sees possibilities in the second – like I said, she’s never met a pillow she doesn’t like!
Throw pillows are like the frosting/decoration on the cake. Change the frosting/decoration for different occasions and you change the “happy”. Same great cake. Throw pillows are the “happy” to the couch. Who doesn’t like a little “happy” in their life?

Even though my husband accuses me of being a throw pillow hoarder I still can’t get enough. Besides books, pillows are my obsession. I like to change them out almost on a monthly basis.

Here I sit, struggling with three different raspberry and lime fabric samples I picked up 6 months ago – so similar to two pillows shown on their website – one being the paisly pictured in your blog. Meanwhile , my poor sofa sits naked except for a lonely throw. I have been searching for the “right” pillows for over 6 months. We would just love to win those pillows and end this struggle.

I have a beautiful leather sofa in a pretty shade of claret, which is perfect for our living room/library. Well its got to be the “greys, yellow & white striped bed pillow” for me – it incorporated my two fav colours and stipes – timeless classics. I enjoyed looking – back to work now!

I can’t agree more about the importance of pillows in creating a look. I’m a stager and at my warehouse we have a section called ‘pillow-rama’! We can’t have enough pillows. The same sofa can look completely different depending on the accent pillows. Great tips in the blog on how to decorate with pillows!

My living room couch is in dire need of a pillow “facelift” with some that are vibrant just like these. Pillows are a way to add pizazz without a huge committment.

I love the Wine Color Raised Floral Pattern Lumbar Pillow – it is a wonderful color for decorating into the winter holidays!
I really like the colorful pillows, but I also like the bird print. I look around my house and find birds everywhere! We live in a very popular place for bird watching as well (S. Texas) since we are on the migration route for birds and butterflies going to Mexico.

I love the turquoise pillow with the yellow paisley design. It would look quite lovely on my new sofa. I have a painting above the sofa, and it is done in an impressionistic style with turquoise, lime green, and yellow. This would be a perfect finishing touch to my design.

I love, love, love the tan and cream coloured pillow! I recently updated my living room and have been trying to find neutral pillows just like this! I have spent hours on Etsy and in local stores to no avail. I love the modern geometric print and tone on tone colour. So many neutral pillows I have scene are gray and that will not go with my décor. They would be perfect with the neutral textured pillows I have recently purchased.
