My Top 5 ‘What not to Buy’ for your House

Copyblogger recently wrote a post about the show ‘What not to Wear’ and explained how this approach works well to illustrate ‘what not to do’ rather than always focusing on ‘what to do’. It’s easy to show beautiful rooms with the ‘right’ furniture (below) but harder to translate into your own space.

It’s time for my April Newsletter so if you want to read my article on my top 5 list of ‘What not to Buy’ for your home, click here to subscribe to my monthly newsletter. While you’re waiting, you’ll have instant access to 18 more special articles only available to newsletter subscribers like, ‘5 Accessories Every one should have in their Home’ from August 2010. You will also receive my special report ‘The top 3 decorating mistakes Homeowners make and how to avoid them, bonus my go-to colours’ available to every new subscriber.

You’ll receive it this week, thanks for reading my newsletter!

If you would like your home to fill you with happiness every time you walk in, contact me.

wait, has it gone out? I don't think I've received a newsletter in 3 months. 🙁

I checked my profile and I'm still active.

Ofcourse, it makes total sense to me! Whether you are buying clothes or furniture and accessories for your home… buy what you love, you'll admire it longer, keep it longer and it will be true to your own unique sense of style. Michelle

Maria, great article once again! And, phew!, I haven't done any of your pet-peave mistakes. Though I do admit that my hub was trying to help and "displayed" our little radio/cd player and speakers on a table – wires and all – and he was proud! I could only say "thank you" knowing I'd gently move it soon!

article from you about two years ago. Please can you sign me up to receive now. Especially interested in April 2011.
    Many thanks. Jan H
