I loved this poster when I found it somewhere on Pinterest (now I don’t know where). I had a new video blog all ready to go with this post today and it was vetoed by my partner. So you’re getting an inspirational pic instead. Sigh. It’s a whole new world, video blogging and apparently I need more practice. . .
Brianne was the third person who posted a comment and she is the winner of my Statement Necklace! Congrats!
I’m going to the Mission Folk Music Festival tomorrow with my mom, sisters and nephews! We are hoping for sunshine 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend!

Happiness is a "choice!" (just like a flavor!)
Why choose to be sad when one can be happy!!

I'm kind of glad your video blog didn't work out:) It's very early in the morning here as I'm reading on your site and if it had been a video blog I wouldn't have been able to watch and listen without headphones (which I don't like to wear) so I wouldn't have enjoyed this post as much!

Love the poster! Love your blog! Love you…you're awesome!

Wow. These are some true words to live by. Sometimes we need that reminder that we're not all drones 😉 Thanks Maria!

I LOVE THIS! Here is a link to where you can purchase the poster; it also is available on cards:

Also, Maria, I echo the earlier commenter — I'm glad this was NOT a video. I get up @3to medidate & pray & read my blog feeds, while everyone else sleeps. I have a small house, so I skip anything requiring audio (yes I need 2get headphones!). And I'm embarassed 2admit that it's been months since I've caught up on my "to listen to" abeyances.

This is probably too much work 2 ask of you, but I love it when I read a blogger who not only gives video but also a transcript below, so that I can read it.

Thanks so much 4 this today — I really needed it, and what's more, will be ordering the poster for my teenage grandson — it's perfect for him! And thanks so much for all your wonderful advice.

    Normally a lurker,
    Nancy

    I always see that poster,
but every time I always read it again…
and always like what it says.

    Have a nice weekend 🙂

Gotta love a partner who can edit and offer feedback that supports us! My husband and I edit each other's writing all the time; I trust his take and visa versa. Plus the man has an eye for color! He edits decor vignettes I've set up, suggests adding a color pop that seems risky to me but works, and moves 'stuff' around. Love it!

That's the Holstee Manifesto and I have a copy of it. Words to live by indeed. That and the ice cream one, lol!

The poster is wonderful! I got home a bit ago from the hospital, where my 89 year old dear dad is in critical condition. It's so hard to let go.

Love your Pinterest finds – especially both of the posters 🙂
Hope you enjoyed the folk festival; the weather was certainly supportive!

Love the posters -want to buy both!

And to tell you the truth I really don't like video blogging. Much prefer to read what you have to say! I sit in the kitchen amongst the chaos and read. Video would just add to the chaos!

I LOVE that poster! I read every word. :o)

Great post. How I'd love to go to a folk music festival with you! That's the style (sort of) that I write. 🙂

Have a lovely day with your family.
