Domino has a slideshow presenting the ‘Best of Domino‘ and the first image is of this antique sofa (which they recommend scouring Paris flea markets for—I will get right on that) Isn’t it beautiful?
I would upholster it in a yellowy beige and cream damask.

Since my blog is all about colour, I thought I would post the blue shade behind the sofa (well what I think it is anyways). It’s cc-910 by Benjamin Moore.

Very pretty color, and I love how the art looks against the wall.

The back of the sofa is cool — I’ve never seen one like that before. It looks like a nice soft place to sit down and relax 🙂

And of course, I love the two purple cuhsions on the left side of the sofa!! 🙂

That’s so funny, because Patricia also posted a Bergere style chair in her last post. They are so feminine and curvy, but I find that the antique ones make you slide forward when you sit in them.

I love this colour,Whirlpool…I’m going to find it in my deck.

I think the hint of black in the art piece is what makes the room memorable.

I can see the sofa with a bold acid yellow flocking velvet – yum!
