Happiness is. . . Living your life with Gratitude!

By 10/10/2009January 26th, 201719 Comments

It’s the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.  A great time to remember that giving thanks and having an attitude of gratitude is truly the path to happiness.  Zen Habits wrote a great post called “Why living a life of Gratitude can make you happy”.”

Also Dan Schawbel who writes a Personal Branding Blog interviewed Gretchen Rubin who started a blog called the Happiness project which turned into a book, and I loved one of her three tips on what people can do to be more happy:

Tip #3) Act the way you want to feel. If you feel annoyed, act thoughtful. If you feel shy, act friendly. It really works.

Seems so simple right?  The stuff that makes us happy always is.

Have a great weekend my lovelies!

Happy Thanksgiving, Maria! I always forget that it is at a different time than ours here in the U.S., but, no matter where you are, it is definitely a great time to reflect on those things you have to be thankful for.

I love to be reminded of gratitude, one tends to start to overlook that part in the pursuit of happiness…

ah yes, my DH is always winging about something, he has no idea (despite me reminding him often) how wonderful our life is, compared to history. Remember the days where a single mum would have to give up their bub (no pensions), one of many examples of how good we really have it these days (if we work for it!)

BTW, can you check my blog re: wall colour – it's causing me so much stress, it's a tinge "plum" but it's meant to be beige – arrggh, I don't want to have to repaint!
